Chris and Anita Oykilome Divorce Case

It unfortunate that Pastor Chris Oykilome and his wife, Anita are having challenges.
The news gathered from social media recently is Pastor Anita accused Pastor Chris of Adultery and she is filing for a divorce.

However, if this information is true, it comes to show that no one is above temptation, even Jesus Christ was tempted by Satan (Matthew 4:1-11). It is written that "Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. And when He had fasted forty days and forty nights, afterward He was hungry."

Christ overcame the temptation, he is the Son of God the Most High but we are humans and no one can say Jesus is Lord except the Spirit is with him. Therefore, it’s not by might or by power but by thy Spirit says the Lord. This is the reasons why God is so merciful to us.

As Christians when a brother falls, we do not laugh at him or criticize him but we help him up.

This is not the time to abuse the Man of God, condemn him or compare him with other Men of God. Rather the Oykilome family needs our prayers and support out of this tough time.

Though I do not attend the Church (Christ Embassy) but I as fellow Christian sister, I plead that the couples find it in their heart to forgive each other, if Hillary Clinton, could watched the video of her husband in romance with another woman (Monica Lewinsky), which was shown to the whole world but nevertheless even though she is not known to be a preacher on Television but forgave her husband, more should be expected from one who spreads the Good News of the Gospel.

I am not in Mother Anita's shoes but I think the discovery that her husband cheated on her must have hurt her so much. It will definately hurt any woman who trust and love her husband. It’s really sad but I plead she lets God come in to comfort her. The Saviour directed us to forgive seventy-seven times seven times. Only HE can give us the grace to do so.

Mother Anita, many people, including myself read Rhapsody of Realities and are inspired by your teachings. The messages have changed lives and won souls to Christ, I think it’s time to pick this same book and let the word of God inspire you too especially during this trial time.

There is a reason all these is happening, give God a chance to show you the purpose for this situation.

The message of the Bible and of our Saviour, Jesus Christ is Love. We love you and pray God gives his Servants the grace to cross this mountain. Amen.
