GUILT WE CARRY

It is sad some people live their lives consumed by guilt that happened in their pasts.
They make themselves miserable by constantly reminding themselves of something they did wrong long ago and they are unable to enjoy life today. In the middle of the smile there is a pain in their heart.

We cannot turn back the hands of time but be self assured that a broken spirit and contrite heart(repentant heart) the LORD will never despise (Psalm 51:17). God chastens those He loves (Hebrews 12:6 ), He wants us to learn from our mistakes not to condemn us. He wants us to make amends. Christ died for us while we were yet sinners (Romans 5:8) therefore the Omnipotence God derives no joy to see His children go to hell.

A sure prophesy is that the devil hates you and he is the accuser of brethren. He calls you by your sin, day and night reminds you of that guilt to destroy your chances of coming back to Christ. Jesus Christ did not condemn the thief crucified on the cross, he was repentant and Christ gave him an automatic visa to paradise. Empty out the guilt and God will fill you with His peace.

Forget about the facts you think you know and trust God. "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God" - Mat. 5:8. This implies you will be blessed if you empty out the impurity worries of life. Do not let it contaminate your spirit and poison your future. Life is still worth much more.

A certain man from your bloodline, His name is Jesus Christ put Himself in your place. He redeemed you from that sin at the cross. He said " IT IS FINISHED", in Greek it is 'tetelestai', an accounting term that means “paid in full.” Jesus eliminated the debt owed by mankind—the debt of sin. The work Jesus was sent to do was to “seek and save that which is lost” (Luke 19:10), to provide atonement for the sins of all who would ever believe in Him (Romans 3:23-25), and to reconcile sinful men to a holy God.

Beloved, ask for forgiveness and receive God's peace. Forgive yourself and do not listen to the accuser (Satan), when he reminds you of your sin, tell him your surety Jesus Christ paid the price.

If you keep holding on to the guilt, you will not have the confidence to approach God and move on. God is more concern about what you are doing right. Don't be concerned when people don't accept you, you don't need their endorsement to validate God's Appointment!
