Love

This is one of the greatest virtues yet the toughest to achieve. Ordinarily as human beings we can not Love expect we ask the Good God to help us achieve Love.

Revenge and vengeance are basic tools of human instinct some have argued. Naturally, if you are nice to another you expect the other to respond likewise but ,many times, they do not.

Remember the biblical story Jesus healing Ten Lepers ( Luke 17:11-14), only one according to the Bible actually came back to thank him.

When one of them saw that he was healed, he came back. He praised God in a loud voice. He threw himself at Jesus’ feet and thanked Him. The man was a Samaritan.

When Jesus saw the Samaritan, He immediately wondered about the other nine men who had also been healed.

Jesus asked, “Weren’t all ten healed? Where are the other nine? Didn’t anyone else return and give praise to God except this outsider?”

Then Jesus said to him, “Get up and go. Your faith has healed you.”
Luke 17:15-19.

Therefore, if they did it to him., they will also do the same to you. Nevertheless, be kind to everyone without expecting anything in return so you don't get your feelings hurt. As a christian, expect nothing from anyone, for we are stewards of our heavenly Saviour and only him can reward us.

As it is written  in Matthew 6:3; But when you give to the needy, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, 4so that your giving may be in secret. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.

So do not feel hurt when another does not appreciate your effort or insult you after a kind gesture, bear in mind that God is happy with you and will make you smile. Their act don't matter, the Love you have shown truly matters to God.

Learn from the words of  Mother Theresa: “God doesn't require us to succeed, he only requires that you try.”

Have a blessed day.
